How much does a consultation cost?
The virtual skin consultation is complimentary — there’s no fee and no obligation to purchase. We built it because the number-one reason routines fail is the wrong products in the wrong order, and a 20-minute conversation fixes that faster than any quiz.
Is the consultation virtual or in person?
It’s a virtual video call, so you can book from anywhere. If you’re in the Los Angeles area and prefer to come in, we also hold in-person sessions at our West Hollywood studio by appointment — just note it when you book.
Do I have to buy Vellum products afterward?
Not at all. You’ll receive a written AM/PM routine within 24 hours that’s yours to keep and shop anywhere. We recommend Vellum where it fits, and we’ll happily tell you when a drugstore SPF or an existing product in your cabinet is the right call.
How long is the consultation?
The live call runs about 20 minutes — enough to review your skin, walk through your current routine, and map out next steps. Your esthetician reviews your intake form beforehand so all of that time goes to you, not paperwork.
Can you help with sensitive or reactive skin?
Yes — it’s one of the most common reasons people book. Every Vellum formula is fragrance-free and panel-tested, and your esthetician will build a routine around a calm barrier first, phasing in actives slowly so nothing tips your skin into a flare.
What do I need to prepare for the call?
Just a clean, makeup-free face, decent natural light, and a list of the products you currently use (screenshots of the ingredient labels help). That’s it — bring your questions and we’ll handle the rest.
